KANSAS PASSES PRO-LIFE BILL TO BAN DISMEMBERMENT ABORTIONS

The state of Kansas has been a haven for late-term abortions for decades and pro-life advocates there successfully lobbied the legislature to approve new legislation that would help put an end to some of them.

In a move that it tells LifeNews.com will transform the landscape of abortion policy in the United States, National Right to Life announced a major new component of the right to life movement’s 2015 legislative agenda with introduction in Kansas of the Unborn Child Protection from Dismemberment Abortion Act. The pro-life group says the wave of pro-life victories in the 2014 election helped set the stage for this first-of-its-kind legislation, which would protect unborn children from the brutality of dismemberment abortion.

“Dismemberment abortion kills a baby by tearing her apart limb from limb,” said National Right to Life Director of State Legislation Mary Spaulding Balch, J.D. “Before the first trimester ends, the unborn child has a beating heart, brain waves, and every organ system in place. Dismemberment abortions occur after the baby has reached these milestones.”

Now, Kansas has approved the bill.

This morning by a voice vote, the Kansas House gave first round approval to landmark pro-life legislation, Senate Bill 95,”The Unborn Child Protection from Dismemberment Abortion Act.”

Kansans for Life Executive Director, Mary Kay Culp, thanked legislators for their diligence in tackling the issue, and enacting a sound law crafted to withstand constitutional scrutimy, that will stop a horrific procedure.

“With the introduction of the bill by lead sponsor, Sen. Garrett Love (R-Montezuma), and 24 Senate co-sponsors, the bill generated immediate grass-roots support and passed the Kansas Senate, 31-9. After a final vote in the House, (possibly later today), SB 95 will head to Gov. Sam Brownback, who has promised his signature,” Culp said.

Culp explained that SB 95 bans a particularly gruesome abortion method in which a living unborn child in her mother’s womb is ripped apart by an abortionist using sharp metal tools. In the words of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, the unborn child, “dies just as a human adult or child would: It bleeds to death as it is torn limb from limb.”[Stenberg v. Carhart, 530 U.S. 914, 958-959].

The bill was carried on the House floor by Rep. Steve Brunk (R-Wichita), with assistance on legal areas by former judge, Rep. John Rubin (R-Shawnee) – both pro-life leaders in the House.

D&E dismemberment abortions are as brutal as the partial-birth abortion method, which is now illegal in the United States and which was upheld in the Supreme Court. But would such an abortion ban be constitutional given the Roe v. Wade decision? National Right to Life points to the high court’s ruling in the partial-birth abortion case as grounds for banning dismemberment abortions too.

In his dissent to the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2000 Stenberg v. Carhart decision, Justice Kennedy observed that in D&E dismemberment abortions, “The fetus, in many cases, dies just as a human adult or child would: It bleeds to death as it is torn limb from limb. The fetus can be alive at the beginning of the dismemberment process and can survive for a time while its limbs are being torn off.” Justice Kennedy added in the Court’s 2007 opinion, Gonzales v. Carhart, which upheld the ban on partial-birth abortion, that D&E abortions are “laden with the power to devalue human life…”

“When abortion textbooks describe in cold, explicit detail exactly how to kill a human being by ripping off arms and legs piece by piece, civilized members of society have no choice but to stand up and demand a change,” added Spaulding Balch. “When you think it can’t be uglier, the abortion industry continues to shock with violent methods of abortion.”

BACK TO SCHOOL HUCKABEE MOVES CLOSER TO A 2016 RUN

By Robert Costa
Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, who struggled during his 2008 presidential campaign to win over economic and foreign-policy conservatives, is scheduled to study up Thursday on tax policy and international affairs in a series of meetings at Stanford University.

He's headed back to school -- and probably the trail.
Huckabee, 59, who is considering a 2016 bid for the Republican nomination, will attend several private sessions at Stanford’s Hoover Institution, a conservative research center on campus.

J. Hogan Gidley, Huckabee’s senior communications adviser, confirmed the meetings.

Lanhee Chen, a Hoover fellow and Mitt Romney’s policy director during the 2012 campaign, will take part in the discussions, along with several of the think tank’s resident scholars. Bob Wickers, Huckabee’s political strategist, will also be there.

Huckabee is not the only potential GOP contender who is seeking out conservative thinkers in preparation for a presidential campaign. Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wis.) visited Hoover in 2013 and Romney lectured at Stanford in January while he was mulling a run.

For much of this year, Huckabee has been focused on social issues and promoting his latest book, “God, Guns, Grits, and Gravy,” his manifesto on what he believes is a culture adrift.

But with his trip to Palo Alto, Calif., Thursday, Huckabee is signaling that he wants to be more than a one-issue candidate, should he formally enter the presidential contest.

Broadening his pitch may be necessary for Huckabee, who has spent recent years as a television personality on Fox News. With Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) announcing his campaign Monday, the competition for the GOP’s right flank, especially evangelicals, will be intense.

Huckabee, a longtime Baptist pastor, has been warmly embraced by top religious conservatives for decades. His rapport with supply-side conservatives hasn't been quite as strong, with many influential GOP figures finding his record on taxes and spending to be lacking.

“He’s a big-government Republican who dramatically increased spending and increased the state sales tax” in Arkansas, said David McIntosh, the president of the Club for Growth, in an interview earlier this year. “Republican donors are going to look at that record and say, ‘We care a great deal about economic issues, and we need a stronger candidate.’ ”

Huckabee’s response to such criticism has usually been to reference how he turned a budget shortfall in Arkansas into a budget surplus, and to note that he had to work with a Democratic state legislature.

Getting some foreign-policy counsel is on Thursday’s docket as well, Gidley said.

Two former Republican secretaries of state, George Shultz and Condoleezza Rice, are based at Hoover, but it is unclear whether Huckabee will meet with them.

CHRISTIAN LEADERS PREPARE FOR CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE OVER MARRIAGE

A team of prominent Christian leaders is preparing a statement that will inform the public – including justices on the U.S. Supreme Court – that they will engage in civil disobedience rather than follow a ruling that establishes homosexual “marriage” in the United States.

Among those leading the charge is James Dobson of Family Talk Radio, Rick Scarborough of Vision America Action, Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel and James Robison of Life Today, whose brand new publication called The Stream reported on a recent telephone conference call discussing the issue.

Stream Executive Editor Jay Richards told WND there were about 20 other Christian leaders on the call. He said members of Congress have expressed an interest in the plan, which will be disclosed in the next few days in a statement regarding marriage and the U.S. Supreme Court.

However, Scarborough wasted no time in an interview with WND explaining what is, and is not, going to happen.

“We’re taking a very adamant stand,” he said. “If the court declares same-sex ‘marriage’ to be on the same par as a civil right, that’s a bridge too far. We won’t obey. We’ll go to jail.”

Dobson, who publicly warned Obama he would not submit to mandatory payments for abortion, saying “come and get me if you must” – said Christians must stand together against the clearly unbiblical “gay marriage.”

“We will be attacked from every direction,” Dobson said in the report in the The Stream, “and critics will do all they can to weaken and embarrass us, but so what?”

“Are we doing to sit on our reputations and go to our graves without having played a role? This is Roe v. Wade all over again. I am standing shoulder to shoulder with all who will stand up for God’s Word concerning marriage. We don’t know all of the steps that must be taken, but God will reveal His will. To the extent that I am able to influence anybody, I will do it with passion.”

Staver, whose legal organization has played a key role in the state Supreme Court decision in Alabama affirming traditional marriage and preventing state judges from following a federal court ruling to impose “gay marriage,” warned Christians of what he sees coming.

“Immediately, when elevated to that level of a constitutionally protected category, [same-sex marriage] is given the same status as race. What you cannot legally do with respect to race, you will not be able to do legally with respect to same-sex unions and sexual immorality,” he said.

“Think of race in the context of religious expression or conscience expression and replace it with sexual immorality, transsexualism or so-called gender identity. For example, churches and other religious organizations are exempt from the religious discrimination provisions of federal, state or local nondiscrimination laws. But they are not exempted from the race provisions. So Catholics can hire Catholics, and Baptists can hire Baptists, but they cannot hire only ‘white’ Catholics or only ‘white’ Baptists. They would face significant penalties. You can’t have separate restrooms or drinking fountains for people of a different color. If a church did that they would be liable for a significant amount of damages because of discrimination on the basis of race.

“Same-sex marriage or laws including sexual orientation or gender identity as a non-discrimination category directly impact religious organizations and churches. If a man wants to use the women’s restroom and a church official told him he could not, then that act would be like telling people of color they cannot use the ‘white only’ restroom. You will also have the same issues with tax exemption over sexual preference as you have now over race,” he said.

Scarborough confirmed congressmen “are lining up to sign the document.”

“The undeniable case is that when same-sex “marriage’ becomes, declared by the Supreme Court, as the law of the land, they will begin to enforce it, like all civil rights laws.”

That is where the civil disobedience will loom large.

“We’re saying, before that, we will never obey that tyrannical law. It’s counter to natural law, and God’s higher law.

“We will simply refuse to comply with recognizing same-sex ‘marriage’ as legitimate,” he said. “The Supreme Court does not have the inherent right [to make that change]. We’ll going to continue doing what we’ve always done.”

He said the hope is that thousands of churches and millions of Americans will join.

Those who plan to use the power of federal law enforcement to enforce same-sex marriage, he said, “better have a lot of prisons and jails.”

Richards told WND the Christian leaders are recognizing that one doesn’t just disobey any law.

“There are certain conditions, such as when a court makes a decision that’s inherently unjust,” he said.

Robison said in The Stream that 30 “deeply concerned church leaders” met on “marriage and [the] family damaging decision the Supreme Court may soon make.”

“If they follow present cultural trends and rulings of numerous lower courts, by June they will rule against the biblical and historical institution of marriage in favor of what is being called ‘same-sex marriage,’” he said.

Same-sex marriage first was recognized in Massachusetts a decade ago. A few other states followed. It was when Barack Obama took office and he and Attorney General Eric Holder said they would refuse to follow the federal Defense of Marriage Act that the pace of state constitutional definitions of marriage being between a man and a woman falling picked up.

Eventually, the Supreme Court struck the federal DOMA.

But it is inside that decision that the seeds of collapse for same-sex marriage may have been implanted.

The Alabama Supreme Court, in its decision rejecting a federal court mandate for its state, cited the decision.

The court noted: “An open question exists as to whether Windsor’s ‘equal dignity’ notion works in the same direction toward state laws concerning marriage as it did toward DOMA. The Windsor court stated that ‘the history of DOMA’s enactment and its own text demonstrate that interference with the equal dignity of same-sex marriages, a dignity conferred by the states in the exercise of their sovereign power, was more than an incidental effect of the federal statute.”

The Alabama court wrote: “In Windsor, New York’s law allowed same-sex couples to obtain marriage licenses. Thus, the ‘dignity’ was conferred by the state’s own choice, a choice that was ‘without doubt a proper exercise of its sovereign authority within our federal system, all in the way that the Framers of the Constitution intended.’”

But it then raised a question: Why, if New York could make that choice, would Alabama be deprived of exactly the same choice?

“The problem with DOMA was that it interfered with New York’s ‘sovereign’ choice,” the Alabama court said. “Alabama ‘used its historic and essential authority to define the marital relations’ and made a different ‘sovereign’ choice than New York. If New York was free to make that choice, it would seem inconsistent to say that Alabama is not free to make its own choice, especially given that ‘the recognition of civil marriages is central to state domestic relations law applicable to its residents and citizens.’”

Staver noted in The Stream that the decision may very well be the fulcrum on which people start judging the Supreme Court, where two justices, Elena Kagan and Ruth Ginsburg, already have openly advocated for same-sex marriage by performing such ceremonies. Despite their personal involvement in the issue, they have yet to recuse themselves from the case that justices will hear in just a few weeks.

“We need to let them know now where we stand. Tell them now that if they cross that line they will become an illegitimate institution, that the Supreme Court will lose the respect of the American people and therefore lose its authority,” Staver said.

WND previously reported Family Research Council senior fellow Peter Sprigg suggested the Supreme Court may tread lightly when it considers whether states have the right to define marriage only as the union of one man and one woman.

“I would hope that that lesson [the Alabama decision] would be one more thing that would chasten the Supreme Court a bit and make them reluctant to overturn not just the laws but the constitutions of a majority of U.S. states on the issue of marriage,” said Sprigg, a defender of traditional marriage.

He said Alabama may be just the tip of the iceberg.

“I think what is happening in Alabama shows that the federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court, should not necessarily operate on the expectation that everyone on the state level will simply roll over and play dead because a federal court expresses its opinion on this issue,” Sprigg said.

“There are limits to how much the courts can impose their will simply by virtue of their prestige and so forth when they’re clearly going beyond anything found in the text of the Constitution,” he said.

Dobson’s earlier challenge to Obama came because of Obamacare’s demand that employers fund abortion services in violation of their beliefs.

WND also reported when Dobson spoke to the National Day of Prayer that hundreds stood and cheered his condemnation of the government’s ongoing attempts through Obamacare to require Christians to participate in something that profoundly violates their faith – abortion.

“[Obama] has made it so that every American will have to pay toward the support of abortion,” he said, citing hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer funds that already go to Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion industry player.

Dobson recited his pledge, made when the fight over abortion funding was launched by Obama.

“To pay one cent for the killing of babies is egregious to me, and I will do all I can to correct a government that lies to me about its intentions and then tries to coerce my acquiescence with extortion. It would be a violation of my most deeply held convictions to disobey what I consider to be the principles in Scripture. The Creator will not hold us guiltless if we turn a deaf ear to the cries of His innocent babies. So come and get me if you must, Mr. President. I will not bow before your wicked regulation. ”

ONE NATION UNDER WHO? SCHOOL RECITES PLEDGE IN ARABIC

Students at Pine Bush High School in Pine Bush, New York, knew right away there was something not quite right about the Pledge of Allegiance. That’s because the pledge was being recited in Arabic.

“One nation under Allah,” the student body president announced over the intercom system on Wednesday.

Reaction in the upstate New York high school was swift, and so was the backlash, The Times Herald-Record reports. Furious students tried to shout down the recitation in their classrooms. Other students sat down in protest.

School Superintendent Joan Carbone told the newspaper that the Arabic pledge “divided the school in half” – noting that many complaints came from Jewish parents and those who had lost family members fighting the war on terror.

The outrage among students was so significant that the school issued an apology.

“We sincerely apologize for having the Pledge of Allegiance recited this morning in the high school in a language other than English,” the apology read. “In our school district the Pledge of Allegiance will only be recited in English as recommended by the Commissioner of Education.”

Well, that’s somewhat reassuring.

However, state regulations do not mandate that the pledge be recited in a specific language. It recommends only specific wording.

108.5 Pledge to the flag.

(a) It is recommended that schools use the following pledge to the flag:

“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

(b) In giving the pledge to the flag, the procedure is to render the pledge by standing with the right hand over the heart.

The school said the pledge was recited in Arabic as a way to honor National Foreign Language Week “and in an effort to celebrate the many races, cultures and religions that make up this great country.” It said the pledge had been recited in other languages throughout the week.

That explanation didn’t set well with student Alex Krug.

“I think it should be said in English,” he told television station TWCNews.com. “It is foreign language week but we don’t even offer Arabic in Pine Bush High School.”

Andrew Zink, the student body president, defended what he did and said he would do it all over again – telling TWC News he “knew exactly what would happen” because “it’s the right thing to do.”

Zink wrote on his Twitter account: “To everyone who disagrees with my decisions, I respect your right to do so and hope we can have a productive conversation,”

Oh, there’s been no shortage of conversation around the small town.

“Thanks to the illegal invasion and the concept of ‘celebrate diversity,’ English is becoming a foreign language in America,” one critic wrote on the local newspaper’s website.

A writer who claimed to be an American of Arab Christian ancestry said he, too, was offended by what happened.

“The Pledge of Allegiance isn’t a ‘salute’ to America,” he wrote. “It’s a promise to be loyal to it. Part of that loyalty should be to learn English and integrating into our culture.”

Based on the comments made by the student body president, it appears the Arabic recitation was less about celebrating a foreign language and more about stirring up trouble.

In my most recent book, “God Less America,” I illustrate how the nation’s public schools have been turned into indoctrination centers. Teachers are preaching a liberal ideology. Our schoolhouses have become places where Christianity is marginalized and Islam is given accommodation.

THE TALLEST MAN IN CANADA PREPARED TO PLAY GOLIATH IN THE MOVIE; "DAVID AND GOLIATH"

Carol Edwards – Ripple Effect Communications
At 7'8" tall, Jerry Sokolosky is the tallest man in Canada and the second tallest man in North America.

So how did he prepare for the role of a lifetime in playing 'Goliath' in the motion picture, "David and Goliath?"

"The moment I was told by my agent that I got the part," says Sokolosky, "the production forced me to train like crazy. I had to lose 40 pounds, work out with a fight coach, a sword coach, and an acting coach."

A fight coach. A sword coach. And an acting coach. Wow. All in a day's work for Jerry Sokolosky who was drafted by the NBA at the age of 17.

"It was a massive challenge, especially filming in the hot desert in North Africa," he continues. "But God brought me through it. He's always been there for me. I also give huge props to director Tim Chey who stood by me, an unknown actor. He's a very gifted and talented director."

Sokolosky, a born-again Christian, gives God credit for getting him through some rough patches in his life. "God is the source of everything and I'm so blessed to know Him. There were some low points in my life where only God got me through it."

So how does Jerry like acting?

"I love acting. It's not easy being one of the tallest guys in the world. You stand out. Everyone wants to have their picture taken with you."

Canada's tallest man, Jerry Sokoloski, 7' 8"
Chey laughs when told of this. "Almost all of my time on the set was keeping tourists away from Jerry. It was so distracting for him, but he kept his cool which I really respected."

Sokolosky relished playing 'Goliath' and is thrilled to have been a part of the film that opens in theaters on April 3.

"It was a true blessing from the Lord to be in this epic film," says Sokolosky. He then adds jokingly, "I hope everyone gets blessed seeing how even a little guy can take out a giant like me. But all kidding aside, I hope this movie really inspires everyone to have the incredible and profound faith that David showed. If every Christian had his courage and faith, our world would be a different place."

"David and Goliath" is considered one of the big three Bible movies hitting theaters after "Noah" and "Exodus: Gods and Kings" and the most Biblically correct.

"David and Goliath" looks at one of the most powerful and beloved Bible stories of all time. The film will focus on the early life of David who fought against the Philistine giant, Goliath against all odds.

"David and Goliath" opens in theaters on April 3, 2015.

ISLAMIC TERROR IN HISTORY

byTim Wildmon AFA President

From the Halls of Montezuma, To the shores of Tripoli;
We fight our country’s battles, In the air, on land, and sea;
First to fight for right and freedom, And to keep our honor clean;
We are proud to claim the title, Of United States Marine.

First Barbary War
Every American should be able to recite these opening lines from the Marine hymn. It reminds of us of the men and women who defend our country and fight for our freedom down through the decades and centuries.

There’s a story behind that line that says, “To the shores of Tripoli,” that most Americans are not familiar with. It involved our country’s first encounter with Islamic terrorists, also known as the First Barbary War (1801-1805). The History Channel website says that President Thomas Jefferson, “…ordered U.S. Navy vessels to the Mediterranean Sea in protest of continuing raids against U.S. ships by pirates from the Barbary states – Morocco, Algeria, Tunis and Tripolitania. American sailors were often abducted along with the captured booty and ransomed back to the United States at an exorbitant price. After two years of minor confrontations, sustained action began in June 1803, when a small U.S. expeditionary force attacked Tripoli harbor in present-day Libya.”

Leading up to the First Barbary War, in 1786, before Jefferson was president, while serving as an ambassador for the new United States, Jefferson (and John Adams) met with Tripoli’s ambassador to Great Britain to see if they could get an answer as to what right the Barbary states had that allowed them to kidnap and slaughter the innocent crews of passing merchant ships. Here’s what Jefferson recorded: “We took the liberty to make some inquiries concerning the Grounds of their pretentions to make war upon Nations who had done them no Injury, and observed that we considered all mankind as our friends who had done us no wrong, nor had given us any provocation.

“The Ambassador answered us that it was founded on the Laws of their prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every musselman (Muslim) who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.”

I find it most interesting to read of this exchange between the ambassador from Tripoli and Jefferson where the Muslim guy just tells Jefferson straight up: We are killing and kidnapping your people and stealing your merchandise because our holy book tells us to.

The ambassador’s answer was so matter of fact, it makes you wonder if when finished he just looked at Jefferson and Adams and said: “Any more questions?”

Since its inception in the 7th century, Islam has used the sword to advance its territory. It goes on to this day. The goal is to bring the world into submission to Sharia law. This is what motivates all these “terrorist” groups. ISIS is getting a lot of attention, but what is going on with Boko Haram against the people of Nigeria today is just as horrible. This practice of using force to compel conversion is a distinctive to Islam compared to the world’s other major religions.

President Obama refuses to acknowledge the problems within Islam. Ironically, it is the president of Egypt, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, himself a Muslim, who is having the courage to speak up publicly calling for a “religious revolution” among Muslims challenging clerics to denounce violence and jihad as a way of advancing Islam.

For the sake of the civilized world, may his tribe increase.

BRAVE MUSLIM WARNS OF ISIS'S APOCALYPITC MISSION

by George Thomas
The terrorist group known as Islamic State, or ISIS, has issued a call on jihadis around the world to kill Twitter employees over blocked accounts. Among those on the target list include Twitter's founder Jack Dorsey.

"Your virtual war on us will cause a real war on you," an online post released by ISIS said. "We told you from the beginning it's not your war, but you didn't get it and kept closing our accounts on Twitter, but we always come back."

Twitter is taking the threats seriously. In recent weeks, Twitter and YouTube have deleted posts and shutdown accounts that released ISIS videos.

Meanwhile, one brave Muslim women said President Barack Obama's insistence that ISIS is not Islamic is "completely wrong" and that his reluctance to label the enemy will have dire consequences.

Asra Nomani is author of Standing Alone: An American Woman's Struggle for the Soul of Islam.

Nomani recently wrote an article for The Daily Beast titled, "Will It Take the End of the World for Obama to Recognize ISIS as 'Islamic'?" in which she argues that the president's "verbal tap dance around Islamic theology and extremism" is "completely wrong."

"We have to own the issue of extremist Islamic theology in order to defeat it and remove it from our world. We have to name it to tame it," Nomani wrote.

She describes herself as a Muslim feminist and is a contributor at The Daily Beast.

In an in-depth interview with CBN News, Nomani also warned that ISIS is on an end-of-days Islamic apocalyptic mission. She said the world must grasp their evil ideology to even try to defeat them.

If the world doesn't wake up to their spiritual and territorial ambitions, she warns the consequences for the region and especially for Christians of the Middle East will be dire.

"WE MUST ALL STAND TOGETHER TO STOP IRAN'S MARCH OF CONQUEST, SUBJUGATION AND TERROR" PM BENJAMIN NETANYAHU

By Aimee Herd
Although Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu's anticipated speech before a US joint meeting of Congress was boycotted by some 50 members, it was a packed crowd in the House chamber.

Bibi's strong argument against a deal with the Iranian regime was interrupted with rousing applause about 40 times, including standing ovations.

The Prime Minister began by noting some of the lesser known ways President Obama has reached out to help the State of Israel, including during the fires, and during Operation Iron Dome as Israel defended itself against Hamas terrorists.

"Some of what the president has done for Israel might never be known... but I know it, and I will always be grateful to President Obama for that support."

He also highlighted the enduring bond between Israel and America.

"The remarkable alliance between Israel and the US has always been above politics, and must remain above politics," Netanyahu said.

Bibi went on to warn that the current deal being pushed by the Obama administration is one that could lead to a nuclear arms race in the "most dangerous part of the world"—the Middle East; as other countries would want to defend themselves against Iran's aggression

"This deal doesn't block Iran's path to nuclear weapons, it paves the path... This deal won't be a farewell to arms–it will be a farewell to arms control," noted Bibi.

Pointing out the contrast between America's objectives and those of Iran, Bibi said, "I'm standing here in Washington, DC and the difference is stark: America's founding document promises 'life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.' The Iranian founding document pledges: 'death, tyranny and the pursuit of jihad.'"

Bibi also pointed out that "even if Israel has to stand alone, Israel will stand. But I know that Israel does not stand alone; America stands with Israel... may Israel and America always stand together...

"Facing me right up there in the gallery, overlooking all of us in this (inaudible) chamber is the image of Moses. Moses led our people from slavery to the gates of the Promised Land.

"And before the people of Israel entered the land of Israel, Moses gave us a message that has steeled our resolve for thousands of years. I leave you with his message today, (SPEAKING IN HEBREW), "Be strong and resolute, neither fear nor dread them."

The great controversy surrounding Netanyahu's speech made it the "most anticipated address in years, and perhaps the most important oration on geopolitical affairs since Ronald Reagan's speech at the Berlin Wall in 1987," according to Breitbart.
